INSIDE-OUT ART MUSEUM
Typography, Branding
2011

This identity design for the Inside-out Art Museum draws from the museum’s core mission—to bridge traditional and modern art, and foster dialogue between East and West. The design centers on the dotted line: a symbol that, like the museum itself, resists fixed definitions and boundaries.

Neither wholly traditional nor modern, Eastern nor Western, the dotted line represents transition, possibility, and connection. It functions in daily life while evoking abstract thought, embodying a form of visual openness. Through its adaptable, expansive nature, the dotted line becomes a metaphor for the museum’s inclusive vision.

Integrated into the visual identity system, the dotted line forms a flexible and thought-provoking image that invites viewers to reflect, question, and engage. It is not a conclusion, but a beginning—a point from which ideas grow.
