Xiqiao Chen is a graphic designer based in the Boston area, with a focus on publication design, identity systems, exhibition visual systems, and UI/UX design. Her practice is grounded in careful observation and driven by curiosity—constantly seeking new visual possibilities and conceptual clarity.
With an MFA from Boston University and a BFA from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, her design approach bridges cultural narratives, blending Eastern and Western perspectives into cohesive, idea-led visual systems. She draws on both structure and emotion to craft thoughtful, context-sensitive solutions that resonate across disciplines and audiences.
Previously, she worked as a graphic designer at Lingjing Yang Studio in Beijing, collaborating with institutions such as the Goethe-Institut, 798 Art Bridge Gallery, Shanghai Translation Publishing House, Today Art Museum, Beijing Times Art Museum, and Chongqing Yunma Brand Design Consultant Co.
Whether designing for print, space, or screen, Xiqiao aims to create design that reflects, provokes, and connects—inviting viewers to question assumptions and discover new meaning through visual language.
